Paper Submission
Information on Final Manuscript Upload
-
Registration is required to upload the final manuscript. Notice that online registration is made through an external system (http://www.cvent.com/d/mcq22c), not EDAS.
-
After registration, you will receive an 11-digit registration code that will be used to upload your final manuscript. According to the ComSoc policy, full registration (categories RG01, RG02, or RG03) is required to upload final manuscripts and each full registration can cover up to 3 papers.
-
Log into EDAS and go to your accepted paper where you should see an upload icon beside "Final manuscript". Click on the upload button. In the next screen, enter the conference registration code and complete the rest steps.
PLEASE NOTE: The author list of an accepted paper can NOT be changed in the final manuscript.
Instructions for Authors
All papers must be written in English with a maximum paper length of six (6) printed pages (10-point font) including figures, in two-column format. Please note that you may not reduce the length of paper submitted for review after it is accepted.
IEEE Transactions templates for Microsoft Word or LaTeX formats can be found HERE. Alternatively you can follow the sample instructions in this template.
Note that this format requires:
- Authors' affiliation centered under authors' name and title, not in a footnote
- No authors bios nor pictures
- No index terms nor keywords
- In LaTex, the use of the \documentclass[conference]{IEEEtran} command
Your submitted PDF file and registered EDAS account of a paper must match. The author(s) must be listed in the same order and the title must match. There may be only minor wording differences in the abstract. Papers where the PDF and EDAS account do not match will be withdrawn by the Technical Program Chair or Track Co-Chairs.
For final manuscripts of accepted papers, please note the following requirements need to be adhered to:
-
no page numbers and no headers/footers
-
non-zero PDF top and bottom margins (typically, at least 0.5 inches) to help indicate if there are any page numbers
-
IEEE Xplore compliant: fonts should be embedded, no bookmarks and no links (you can set these formatting checks in the configuration)
Final manuscripts should be uploaded using EDAS; for help, see http://edas.info/doc/final.html
